IN YOUR RACING POST TODAY:

Tony O'Hehir brings news from Ballydoyle in Ireland: "Team Aidan O'Brien, waits on news of 'very special' St Nicholas Abbey. On a day when he should have been preparing to defend market leadership in the King George V1 and Queen Elizabeth Stakes to be run at Ascot on Saturday. Instead this most beautiful and gifted colt is fighting for his life in Fethard Equine Hospital, as the surgeons operate to save his life hoping to piece back together his fractured pastern. Broken on Tuesday morning whilst at exercise.  He will never race again. Coolmore hold their breath, in the hope he can be saved to stand at stud.

THE THURSDAY REPORT
Peter Scargill on Racings attempts to achieve a watertight definition of inside information to use against those who try to gain an unfair advantage.

MUDDY WATERS
"How the BHA's own appeal board has brought into question again a subject under which racing's rulers hoped a clear line had been drawn.

Inside information - the BHA definition
"Inside information is information about the likely participation or likely performance of a horse in a race, which is known by an owner, trainer, rider, professional handler rider employed within a trainers team, or any of their service providers as a result of acting as such, and is not information in the public domain.."

J Margaret Clarke Turfcall Comment:
Are we allowed to know officially if this BHA 'Inside Information' is Bloodhorse Literate Information? Or 'Bloodhorse Illiterate Information'? As an observer over a considerable period of time one knows for sure that the BHA definition of ' Inside Information sadly relates to 'Bloodhorse Illiterate Information.'

The Jockey Club, BHA, the whole lot of them, have, over the past 5 decades been treating true top professional pioneering horsemen like criminals. A cruel and evil injustice.

The number one priority here is that the BHA and all those employed within it, to include all subsiduaries linked, and contaminated by BHA be stopped from causing any more hardship to either man or beast.

"How the BHA's own appeal board has brought into question again a subject under which racing's rulers hoped a clear line had been drawn.

No clear line can ever be drawn under the misery and hardship you have enflicted upon true horsemen to include the horses'.
