Sacred Pentecost Sunday  June 9th  2019
PENTECOST  THE  BIRTH OF THE CHURCH to celebrate the gift of the Spirit,
Unity, of one mind and heart is sealed with power by  the Holy Spirit
Pentecost: The Spirit of all sorts:

The disciples are gathered in fear of suffering the same brutal treatment as their
master did. The evangelist John shows us that there is an exit from this paralyzing
fear through the peace that Jesus brings.

Into this room of trapped people Jesus comes with peace. He breathes the
Holy Spirit on his disheartened followers. As the risen Jesus breathes on them,
the disciples breathe in the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the breathe they take,
the breathe that gives them all new heart. Only in the gift of the Spirit
is fear changed into freedom.

Only in the Spirit are the disciples empowered to understand the past anew and see the
 future with hope. The Spirit is the exit that leads into the Streets and the Marketplaces;
where legions of people may seem to walk freely, but where so many feel trapped in their
own lives. Through the disciples of Jesus the Holy Spirit will reach these people. For the
disciples are commissioned to breathe out as they have breathed in: to share this new

Spirit with the multitude of peoples:
That great variety emerges from the one Spirit in which we were all baptized. It’s not
That our differences are smothered by the Spirit;  rather our differences are funded
by the Spirit who works not to standardize everyone to factory proportions, but to
make variety his mark. He is the Spirit of all sorts.

Thoughts:
The resurrection of Jesus was not an hysterical invention of people who refused
to accept the death of their master. On the contrary, resurrection is the original
act of accepting Jesus’s death. The Father’s act of raising Jesus from the dead is
the Father’s way of accepting his Son’s death. Jesus is wakened to new life by
the applause of his Father, by the loud shout of his Father’s gratitude:

Quote:
The Spirit of Christ becomes the strength of our ‘weak’ prayer, the light of our
‘dimmed’ prayer, the focus of our ‘dry’ prayer, giving us true inner freedom,
teaching us to live by facing our trials, in the certainty we are not alone.
Pope Benedict XV1

Thought:
Part of our own task is to discover how the Spirit has gifted us in individual ways, and to  appreciate the Spirit’s different gifts to other people. In the Spirit difference has a future. We invoke the Spirit to awaken us to the gifts we have been graced with, And we thank God for their variety:

JMC: So how dangerous are the remaining
names on the Tory leadership race?
The Tory Self- Assessment to replace Mrs T May as Prime Minister of the UK Conservative Party? Or is it all just one big joke? As Tennis champion John McEnroe is famed for
saying "You can't be serious?" Call the Tory 8 decade wage bluff copyright
financial fraud tactics to account hardest hit horseracing and nursing both:
Jeremy Hunt did nothing for nursing he had his chance to make a difference
but he didn't care. He did nothing.

UK Electorate have been dealt a double dose of Prime Minister juniors, costing them
all a fortune in taxation, a fortune that they do not have. On top of which burdened
with a massive Global Trade Brexit Debt. Who is going to pay that? And who should be paying for that? Not UK tax payers.   See Tory leadership contest for up to date info:

JMC: Tory financial accountability:

Whilst extreme inhumane poverty exists, either here, or in any other country
worldwide, can electric cars, driver-less cars, or all roads adapted at huge cost
for the use of driverless cars be spent by any government, anywhere in the
world in 2019, in 2020. In 2025. In 2030. IN 2040?

Workers Rights include decent wage copyright structures inclusive of a decent place to

live. 8 decades of the present dark-age wage debacle, has and is the worst crisis of all.

The number one priority for any and all Tory politicians and their lawyers. Shrugged

off by Cameron and May as of no account. Both have made sure of their own wage and

living conditions, but no one else's. The mess they have made for other people to pay

for is not acceptable, in reality they have not earned any wage. They are a liability

to themselves and to our whole world, inclusive of all Global Trade initiatives,

IF YOU CAN'T DO A DECENT HONEST JOB, YOU DON'T DESERVE ANY PAY.

The pay scale of all Tory politicians and their lawyers needs halving, 8 decades

of broken dark age practice hanging on by a thread, how have they managed

to get away with it, you might well ask, and why wouldn't you have an

absolute right to ask?
