So whether you’re planning a long haul trip to the Kentucky Derby, a weekend away in Paris for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe or a trip to the Grand National, this beginner’s guide to betting on horses should come in handy.

PARIS: PLACES TO SEE, THINGS TO DO

One of the great things about taking one of our Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe packages is that you get to spend a few autumn days in Paris.

The Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe was first run on Sunday 3 October 1920.
Government funding of the race resumed after the war in 1949, with money obtained through the Loterie Nationale.

The present sponsor of the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe is the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC). The sponsorship agreement was signed in Doha in 2008, and as a result the prize fund was doubled from €2 million to €4 million.

LEE himself a champion racing journalist brings us update news from TEAM CECIL following his public racecourse gallop yesterday before racing at Newmarket .

When will we see FRANKEL again? If all goes well we will see FRANKEL and TOM QUEALLY and TEAM CECIL again on Qipco British Champion's Day at Ascot on Saturday October 20th challenging for the Qipco Champion Stakes. After that FRANKEL is going to meet up with some superstar fillies, a new adventure in the life and the times of FRANKEL.

We will be able to see FRANKEL again but not competing to win a race. (if all goes to daily plan ) FRANKEL, moves on to another intriguing adventure in his very own true life story.

PRICEWISE
(Tom Segal)

ON Thursday September 6th Tom brings us his thoughts on the Cambridgeshire he pinpoints the value bet in Newmarket's big handicap in ANTI - POST- PRICEWISE.

"BRONZE ANGEL looks divine at 25-1 after unlucky Ascot run." Tom writes in detail, he tells us. "My style of punting has always been to find the improver in the race and the one that stands out in the Cambridgeshire is Marcus Tregoning's BRONZE ANGEL at 25-1."

Tom writes in some detail this day on the 2012 Cambridgeshire with sound reasoning on anti-post betting tactics. A valuable focus feature worthy of going in anyone's reference file, for future minding.
