TURFCALL COMMENT
There
are 18 runners to take part in this Handicap Chase, a lot of runners to all bunch-up close, when approaching take off point into each big fence. If even one of these horses makes the slightest mistake when not given the room or the sight going into each big fence to be able to judge tack off accurately - the distance to take off point, can create a potential hazzard for all the other 17 runners. So as far as having a bet in this handicap chase with 18 runners is potentially hazardous.
The Racing Post has a diagram in today's paper of the two jumping tracks and the Flat track - all three are left handed tracks.
C F Swan fields START ME UP (IRE) 8 11-0 partner DAVY RUSSELL second run this season.
W P Mullins fields THEMOONANDSIXPENCE (IRE) 9 11-3 partner R WALSH. first time out this season.
