Scott Burton:
"Magical Moonlight may run in Marois. Head mare too hot for Lethal Force in France.
"MOONLIGHT CLOUD was lauded as the best mare in Europe yesterday after powering to a third successive victory in the Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville, her impressive defeat of LETHAL FORCE setting up a potentially epic encounter with Europe's best milers next weekend."
"If the five- year-
old does make a swift return in the Jacques le Marois back at Deauville on Sunday, she will be ranged
against INTELLO - described by Olivier Peslier as potentially the
continent's top three-year-old colt- in
a Group 1 that is also being considered for DAWN APPROACH, TORONADO and ALJAMAAHEER."
Larc Prix Maurice de Gheest (Group 1) (3yo+) (Turf)
- (3yo+) (6f110y) 6½f Good To Soft

Peslier has faith in Intello
HOT, HOT, HOT
Olivier
Peslier expects Intello to prove he is the best three-year-old colt in Europe
when he runs in the Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville on Sunday August 11.
The French
rider is looking forward to taking on the top milers around before connections
decide where to go after that.
Intello, trained by Andre Fabre,
successfully dropped back in trip in the Prix Messidor at Maisons-Laffitte on
Sunday after winning the French Derby over an extended mile and a quarter at
Chantilly.
