 BRAVE SPRINTER SACRE
"Sacre  boost as heartbeat normal after latest check.

Rodney Masters finds the patient the calmest of everyone at Seven Barrows pages 6-7

"Showman at full swagger and vibes are good. "

What a beautiful horse Sprinter Sacre is up close at home as shown on this morning's CH4 Morning Line.
His  expression amazing. He knows that he is loved. For sure. His confidence intact.

CHRISTMAS REFLECTIONS
Expect more from Hurricane while Ruby shows his class.
TOMORROW'S RUNNER  Three year old Briar Hill can see off another small field
BRIAR  HILL will bid to make it three from three over hurdles in the Grade 2 Slaney  Novises Hurdle (I.30) over 2m4f at Naas. He ended up wsith only one to beat when he won a Grade 1 at Navan last month and it will be another small field this time. With his penalty BRIAR  HILL will be giving weight to his rivals but he got the trip well at Navan, so we're quite hopeful he will retain his unbeaten record.

"The ground will be more testing than he has raced on since winning his first bumper at Thurles last season but on pedigree - he's closely related to Boston Bob -  he should handle it.

"Mozoltov  made a good start over fences at Fairyhouse last month and will attempt to follow up in the 2m novice chase (1.00)
"He's a horse who has been quite lightly raced, so there should be plenty of improvement to come and testing ground won't be a problem. He jumped well at Fairyhouse."

"Chiltern Hills makes her debut over fences in the 2m 3f mares' beginners' chase (2.30). A strong mare who won a bumper and a hurdle race, she has schooled well and will love the ground. "

ASK  WILLIE
"Among all your very talented inmates is a diminutive mare who won a 2m3f  bumper  at Kilbeggan  in September called ASK VIC. For her size she looked to have a very big heart . Do you rate her?  (montana 1984)

"She won well at Killbegan  and we decided to give her a break. She isn't a mare for this heavy ground and will be back in action in the spring when, hopefully, she will do well. "

Moment of the week
"Hard to split Hurricane Fly doing the business again at Leopardstown and
Annie Power keeping her winning streak going with a good performance at Cheltenham.

"Low point of the week
"Having to rule Sir Des Champs out for the rest of the season yesterday due to a tendon injury. "

One to watch
"Argentino  was placed a few times on the Flat in France and is a nice type who will be starting off for us in a four-year-old-hurdle quite soon. "

"Stat of the week
" In the last 5 seasons Willie is 9-14 in novice hurdle races at Naas (+£13.03 to £1 stake),  including two wins and a third in the Slaney Novices Hurdle.
Briar Hill  runs in that contest at 1.30 tomorrow. "

GOING: HEAVY. (Partly cloudy)
