HORSERACING HIGHLIGHT'S REVIEW

LAST WEEKEND'S HORSERACING ACTION

RACING POST SATURDAY MAY 24th
RICHARD HUGHES  ON SATURDAY (page 14)
"Watering obsession ruining our tracks"
"I DO not expect to be going back to Warwick again
more later

"HUGHESIE'S HOTTIE"
Last week's Hottie, Olympic Glory  lived up to his billing and I hope you had a few quid on Aertex, who won at 11-2. This week I'm selecting Wahaab, who runs in Goodwood's 7f handicap (2.55). We've always thought a bit of him at home and he's settled down over the winter. He starts back of a fair mark. "

"No extra pressure in riding Scoop6 contenders. "

4. "Hughesie's Hottie
5. "No extra pressure in riding Scoop6 contenders

KINGMAN'S TEAM (John) GOSDEN SATURDAY MAY 24th .
Behind the scenes Kingman's trainer John Gosden (GB) (Newmarket) had considerable doubt about the condition of the turf on the actual Curragh racetrack.  It was touch and go whether he would chance Kingman on the ground. After walking the track himself he made his decision to let Kingman go ahead and take his chance. Kingman partner James Doyle won by 5 lengths 4-5 favourite, from second Shifting Power partner Richard Hughes Team (Richard) Hannon 7-1

Picked up by the Racing Post's Jonathan Mullin "on a Classic masterclass the weather had almost conspired to deny us. "Late call a blessing for grounded Gosden. "

"SOMETIMES things happen for a reason, not that John Gosden could have known that as he folded those long legs of his into his seat on the flight to Dublin on Saturday morning. "

Racing Post Monday May 26th Page 3 Headline:
"Hughes hopes tracks follow Yarmouth's lead over ridges issue. "
 by Jon Lees

"CHAMPION jockey Richard Hughes wants racecourses to follow the example set by Yarmouth and take steps to address the increasing prevalence of ridges and humps on turf surfaces, which he claims are producing conditions that are challenging to race on when the going is quick."

BRITISH TURF CONDITION ISSUES THE RESPONSIBILITY OF POLITICAL, LEGAL, RACECOURSE AND HORSERACING GOVERNMENT.

Richard Hughes says: "Yarmouth is closing from September until June next year for levelling  of the home straight, and Hughes believes there are other tracks in need of attention, having cited the Rowley Mile at Newmarket and Nottingham as courses he has concerns  about.

"Hughes said in his Racing Post column that increased watering  is to blame for the problems and, while accepting  BHA evidence of the risks of injury to horses posed by  firm ground, believes uneven surfaces also threaten safety."

Richard Hughes "Take a chance on Sandesh

"I'll be taking my world tour to India next week but as a taster I want to introduce you to a good friend of mine. Akhade Sandesh.

"You probably wouldn't have heard of him until now, but he's huge in India. He's landed the Bangalore Derby twice, is Mumbai's champion jockey and has partnered 151 winners in a year , which no rider in Indian has ever done. To achieve all that and still be only 22 means Sandesh is a very smart young jockey.

"Richard Hannon is kindly putting him up for six weeks and I'm sure the experience will do him the world of good.

"He made his debut on Tuesday at Bath, where he finished fourth on one of ours in a mile handicap. I told him before the race not to panic if he gets blocked on the rail. If that happens in India and you don't get a run people assume you were cheating- but I'll go into that in more detail next week.

"Any trainer who might want to book Sandesh - he can do 8st so can ride pretty much anything - should call my agent Tony Hind on 07807 908599, You won't regret it. A pic of Akhade Sandesh:  you'll be hearing more of him. "

RICHARD HUGHES CURRAGH CLASSICS

"Winning the Irish 2,000 Guineas at what for years was my home track aboard Canford Cliffs provided one of the highlights of my career.  Bagging another Curragh Classic would make me very happy indeed.

"Kingman is the odds-on favourite for today's Irish 2,000 Guineas, while my lad Shifting Power is around the 8-1  mark, which I think is about the right price.

"Kingman ran a super race in the Guineas (British), especially as James Doyle would ideally have liked to have produced him later than he did. As such, Kingman's best asset, his turn of foot,  was not exploited in the way it might have been.

"Shifting Power has around two and a half lengths to find on Kingman. based on Newmarket form and, although he'll improve for his British Guineas run, there is every reason to think Kingman may also have come on for that race as well.

"I can definitely  see our horse finishing in the first three, but Kingman is not the only big gun

"I was extremely impressed with Dermot Weld's Mustajeeb when he won at Leopardstown  last time. He really picked up well and looked to have a big future. Kingman will have to watch out because Mustajeeb  represents a serious danger.

"I had expected to team up with Rizeena in tomorrow's Etihad Airways Irish 1,000 Guineas.

"It is a great shame she's been ruled out of the race, but I still have a genuine chance after picking up a very nice ride on Al Thakhire. If the ground ends up soft at the Curragh, she's one of just a handful in the field who will love the conditions. "

The gross income that the true Equus Zone of British horseracing earn every day? Who takes this money?  (Equus Zone all those who have achieved true bloodhorse literacy in their own right.
Is the British political, legal, racecourse and horseracing  government taking the money earned by all those who belong in the true Equus Zone for themselves instead? )  Unjust British government scams. Is this the reason that government refuse to allow a true active daily Equus Zone? Is this the reason that in the end the government got away with selling The Tote?

WARWICK FLAT ALL WEATHER EVENING MEETING TUESDAY MAY 20th 2014 FIRST RACE OF SEVEN 5.45: OVER 6f. 13 RAN ONLY 12 FINISHED.

This race was run in heavy rain. A terrible incident with Artful Lady slipping up rounding the bend taking a fatal fall.
Artful Lady (IRE)  5 9-0 partner Jordan Vaughan (7) (a student learner with a 7lb allowance) Team (George) Margarson  for Graham Lodge Partnership.

Why did the bloodhorse illiterate stewards at Warwick allow this race to be run in heavy rain? To suit the punters sitting in the warm in betting shops? All punters should be allowed to know and understand when incidences like this happen all bets should be void. All racecourses when freak circumstances present themselves should abandon the card with immediate effect.  No one has the right to play games with other peoples lives, to include the horses lives. Not even the British Legal Justice System. British Horseracing is a professional sport. Also being used  to provide what has become a popular Gambling Game.

BLOODHORSE ILLITERATE GOVERNMENT ZONE: MEDIA ZONE: PUNTERS ZONE

British i political,  ii legal,  iii racecourse  and  iv horseracing government are very vague about their responsibilities in these four government areas. Raising several key questions

Who are the three present parties who say they own British horseracing?
