FRANKIE DETTORI when he got the leg-up into the saddle of Golden Horn at Epsom on Derby Day 2015 knew that he had a live chance to win the race, not only worth a lot of money, but also acquiring instant global fame, not quite the same as taming a lion, who lived at home like being a little cat or dog. Frankie wouldn't have been thinking about becoming famous, he was already famous. He would have been thinking about the job in hand, about cantering to the start. Loading into the starting stalls, thinking about all the other racehorses around him, minding Golden Horn every step of the way. When the starting gate opened and the race was on, all concentration between Frankie and Golden Horn clicked in. Frankie, possibly one of the greatest jockey's this world and all the people in it, to include the horses has ever seen, was able to manauvre and mind Golden Horn throughout to Win Free. A skill and art that few ever achieve, or understand.

BBC Political Guru Norman Smith brings news of Michael Gove MP speech this morning at 11.30am. Responding to Tory Cameron- Osborne Division 200 page Treasury Dossier yesterday. 




Gove says “ If we vote to stay, we will be held as Hostages to EU Brussels European Court of Justice. Held as hostages by the whim of this court. This same court who is responsible for the trouble, time and money that has already been wasted by belonging in the EU.  The EU doesn’t work. And hasn’t been allowed to work over the last 43 years. All the other 27 countries have and are being prevented from fair decent trading, whether they realise  this or not, shackled by dishonest EU theory.
