Don’t forget to check out the Racing Posts Fancy5 bet, with £5,000 to be won today in their great new online game.

PREVIEW  ROYAL ASCOT FEVER ...... TODAY’S BIG TALKING POINT
JON LEES brings us a feature race full of significance on both sides of the Atlantic.
“A Coronation to savour as US ace squares up to hot Europeans …
“THERE was more fame and glory for Aidan O’Brien and Coolmore yesterday with a fifth Gold Cup and Ballydoyle holds the ace in the pack today’s highlight at Royal Ascot, the Coronation Stakes with 13 challengers to go to post at 3.45 this afternoon.

“No filly in the £250,000 Group 1 will be more deserving of victor, as TOGETHER finished runner- up in the Guineas at Newmarket and the Curragh, last month, both times by just three-quarters of a length.
“BLUE BUNTING and MISTY FOR ME were her conquerors, but neither figure among her dozen rivals to-day, and TOGETHER is favourite to make third time lucky in top-flight races this season.” RYAN MOORE will be partnering TOGETHER this afternoon.

PUNTERS v BOOKIES
“WINS for three well - supported favourites yesterday ensured punters gained the upper hand in the five-day battle with the bookies.
“What a difference a day makes!” lamented Ladbrokes spokesman David Williams.
“Yesterday was brilliant but today has been miserable. BANIMPIR got us off to a bad start and FAME AND GLORY was very well supported.

“FAME AND GLORY winning was a hammer blow and then BROWN PANTHER twisted the knife. Punters are clearly ahead on points.
“Boylesports spokeswoman Nicola McGeady said: ‘We lost around a 100 grand in the anti-post book and just north of half a million a day.”

TODAY’S REVIEW OF YESTERDAY’S ACTION AT ROYAL ASCOT
“GLORY FOR FRANKIE,  DETTORI DELIGHT AS REWILDING OVER POWERS HOT FAVOURITE SO YOU THINK. All the drama of the Prince of Wales’s Stakes and ALASTAIR DOWNS VIEW.”

ALASTAIR “Witnesses a compelling battle that stretched its leading players to the limits. Force is with Frankie in an epic struggle for mastery.

“This was indeed a race red in tooth and claw – too much for the stewards, who reached for their own cudgel giving DETTORI a nine - day ban for hitting his horse 24 times."

J MARGARET CLARKE TURFCALL
ROYAL ASCOT 2011 PRINCE OF WALES STAKES

This race similar to the 2011 Aintree Grand National finish, over the last two furlongs of each of these races, where we see FRANKIE DETTORI using his whip to access instead of riding REWILDING out to the line with his hands and heals.

Where we see RYAN MOORE partner to  SO YOU THINK riding with his hands and heals to the line to finish only second, beaten by only a head. It was noted how disappointed RYAN was. Understandably so. Because if FRANKIE had ridden REWILDING out with his hands and heals as he should have done, the results of this race may have been a very different one.
These stewards cannot go on regulating British horseracing this way. Stewards can’t go on treating young riders like this. Young riders thrust into the limelight at a very young age,  who have achieved bloodhorse literacy, but they are being left to deal with stewards who are bloodhorse illiterate.  Far to often it is noted in a very unpleasant way.

AINTREE 2011 GRAND NATIONAL
This race similar to the 2011 Royal Ascot Prince of Wales Stakes' finish in that both of these cases show a big difference financially between the winning prize money and the place
money. When  two horses fight out the finish, two horses, who draw away from the rest of the field … fighting it out to the line. In which one jockey uses his whip to access and only just manages to win, by a head, whilst the other jockey does not use excessive use of the whip,  but rides with his hands and heals and gets beaten.

AINTREE 2011 GRAND NATIONAL
We see JASON MAGUIRE using his whip to access instead of riding BALLYBRIGGS  out to the line with his hands and heals. After which BALLYBRIGGS very nearly collapsed. It was noted that JASON came in by himself carrying his saddle. A solitary and disturbing sight.
We see SAM WALEY COHEN riding out his finish partnering OSCAR WHISKY with his hands and heals to the line, to only finish second.

BLOODHORSE ILLITERACY
There is no way that  bloodhorse illiterate punters or people having a good day out at the races should  expect or attempt to expect to prejudice an animal or a riders welfare creating dangerous situations, and in so doing expect to take their pleasure at a horses and his handler rider's expense.

KEY REMEDY
IF BOTH THESE RIDERS had ridden out the last two furlongs with hands and heals as they should have done the result may have been very different.

The first thing that these stewards need to do  as a matter if dire urgency, is to tell all riders that they have to ride over the last two furlongs of each race with hands and heals only.

“LET’S GET IT ON What a start to Royal Ascot as dramatic victories for CANFORD CLIFFS and FRANKEL sets up match we’re clamouring for …

Previews an tipping start page 10  ROYAL ASCOT
“SO  YOU THINKYOU CAN TOP THAT? Exciting Aussie import out to star on day two. Mobile app bet offer Money back if he wins by more than two lengths.  Will he be part of your Fancy5 ?  £5,000 to be won today in our great online competition page 60….”

“Victor Chandler, we are paying ¼ ODDS A PLACE ALL RACES AT ROYAL ASCOT THIS WEEK, AND 5th ROYAL HUNT CUP 4.25 THIS AFTERNOON.
VICTOR CHANDLER   victorchandler.com

PAUL EACOTT brings us “TODAY’S BIG TALKING POINT on the Aussie import who has made a big impact. JUDGEMENT DAY arrives as THINK’S quality is put to the test ……
“A FORMIDABLE record in Australia led to the Coolmore partners dipping into their not inconsiderable coffers to make a bag of money swoop over the winter for SO YOU THINK, the star attraction on day two of Royal Ascot. (3.45 Prince of Wales’s Stakes 1m2f Qipco Series race 4-9 on this morning. Live on BBC 2)
“Although he has already secured two victories for them, including one at Group 1 level, today’s Prince of Wales Stakes is the first real chance the imposing 5 year old bay horse has to show if he will prove a shrewd investment.

“Since leaving legendry trainer Bart Cummings to join Aidan O’Brien,
SO YOU THINK has followed up his ten-length win in the Group 3 Mooresbridge Stakes at the Curragh with a four-and- a- half length victory in the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the same course.
“His presence in those races scared off the opposition , meaning he was sent off  at prohibitive odds of 2-13 and 1-7, and after his latest win Cummings blasted racing in Britain and Ireland, claiming SO YOU THINK  met better horses on a regular basis in Australia.

“Whatever your reaction to such comments, SO YOU THINK ‘S record in Australia was close to impeccable .
“The New Zealand –bred son of HIGH CHAPARRAL won nine of his 12 starts, with five of those coming at the highest level and over distances from seven furlongs to a mile and a quarter.
“Added to that was a sensational period from September 18 through to October 23 last year, during which he won four Group 1’s, including the Cox Plate at Moonee Valley and the Mackinnon Stakes at Flemington Park, before being stepped up dramatically in trip to 2 miles for the Melbourne Cup seven days later, when he finished third behind AMERICAIN  on soft ground.”

J MARGARET CLARKE TURFCALL. WHAT A WONDERFUL TRUE STORY THIS IS,
and what an opportunity we all have at 3.45 this afternoon to watch SO YOU THINK partnered this day by RYAN MOORE tackling the other 6 competitors in the Prince of Wales Stakes over a trip of 1 mile 2 furlongs  this day, with a chance of winning £227,080  but will he succeed?  Coolmore show huge faith in this horse, for a number of key reasons. Coolmore, pioneers of the turf seek out the breeding behind each thoroughbred, as well as the factual form portrayed in each racing performance on the racetrack.

Another wonderful horse that captured the hearts of many nations was PHAR LAP a Thai
name for lightning .... sky flash .... was born in New Zealand  in 1926, a total of eighty six years ago. Following his death in 1932  PHAR LAP was found to have an unusually large heart, which can be found displayed at the National Museum of Australia in Canberra.
The difference between PHAR LAP and SO YOU THINK is that unfortunately PHAR LAP was gelded, SO YOU THINK is a full horse, undoubtedly his  blood lines of huge interest to Coolmore and Coolmore’s world wide breeding expertise.
Now this afternoon will SO YOU THINK capture the heart of this nation at Royal Ascot? Don’t miss it.

THE RACING POST WEDNESDAY JUNE 15th 2011
STEVE (Yarmy) DYBLE  A MESSAGE TO DEAR YARMY WE ALL MISS YOU,
AS DO THE HORSES YOU CARE FOR EVERY DAY SO KINDLY AND SO CAREFULLY WITH SUCH SKILL xx

YARMY  Speaking from hospital (Leicester Royal Infirmary) last Sunday , said “I’ve broken six ribs and fractured a collarbone and shoulder blade. I don’t know how long I’ll be here, but there is not a lot they can do apart from giving me pain killers and making me comfortable.
“I obviously won’t be at Ascot-but I don’t think FRANKEL will need me.”

“DYBLE was leading the William Musson trained EMEEBEE into the stalls before the 1m2f handicap at Leicester when the horse leapt forward and slammed
Dyble into the front of the starting stall at the starting gate.

ALL THE WORK that goes on behind the scenes to make this Royal Ascot possible no one would ever believe. The skill and the art required to prepare these young thoroughbreds properly to compete in races on racecourses goes on in the main unnoticed by the British horseracing authority and the government. All this afternoon's action at Royal Ascot will be taken for granted by these authorities. What right do they believe that they have to treat people and animals like this?

“BE PREPARED TO SHARE IN SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL.
“TODAY we are the envy of the world. Look far, look wide but nowhere will you find anything that can compare to these five days.

“They are the best of British, the epitome of Englishness, but insular they are not. All are welcome and most are here.

“In little over a year’s time, London will become the centre of the sporting globe, yet what we have this week just half an hour west of the capital is nothing short of Flat racing’s Olympics.
“Amid the pomp and majesty, the very best of best will compete on the most famous of racecourses in its 300th year. And nothing could be better than the menu to be served on this exceptional Ascot opening day.”
“HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS! This could be the greatest day’s racing ever. Put the champagne on ice and go easy on lunch. You’ll want your wits about you for the most explosive start to a race meeting in living memory as the brilliant CANFORD CLIFFS takes on wonder mare GOLDIKOVER, followed 75 minutes later by the reappearance of FRANKEL, breathtaking winner of the 2,000 Guineas for newly knighted Sir Henry Cecil.”

THE RACING POST MONDAY JUNE 13th 2011
ROYAL ASCOT EVE

“ESSENTIAL 20-PAGE ROYAL ASCOT FORM PULLOUT FREE INSIDE

“Rain threatens to force Ascot going change  .... JON LEES writes “ASCOT was braced for a significant downpour last night as the Met Office predicted substantial rain for the racecourse that threatened to result in a potential key change of going on the eve of the
five- day royal meeting.

“After the rain arrived at the track late yesterday afternoon after a prolonged dry spell, clerk of the course, Chris Stickels conceded there was now a chance the fixture could open on good to soft ground for the first time since 1998.

“The Met Office forecaster said: Ascot could be getting around 20mm of rain, maybe up to an inch, if it continues at the current rate. The good news is that it will more or less clear during Monday.”

“AT HOME WITH SIR HENRY”

PETER THOMAS drops in among crowds as new knight hosts garden party, to the public,
for the benefit of Newmarket Cancer Research UK.

“One-liners and flowery shirt- he’s still our Henry.

“I’m still the same daft creature I’ve always been. It makes you feel very humble … But it’s the chat that clinches the deal. “Is everybody calling me Sir Henry?” he asks himself as we potter past the vegetable patch, I very much hope not .” And we wander through the broad beans, to which the great man admits an addiction. “You have to keep the skin on, though that’s where half the flavour is. People used to peel them, but then they had a dozen scullery maids – and I’ve only got Jane.” Luckily, his long-suffering  other half is beyond earshot.”

PETER brings Sir Henry’s Garden Party to life for us readers in a lovely way.

One is left to feel that many of Beatrix Potter’s little animals would be made welcome in Sir Henry’s garden, especially Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny discretely venturing into Sir Henry’s vegetable patch at Warren Place maybe?

“THE JOY OF SIX Record sixth win for Greyhound Derby king Lister with the brilliant TAYLORS SKY.”

“More amazing success for ace golf tipster Steve Palmer.”

ROYAL ASCOT COUNTDOWN
“FRANKEL will have to do without help of guru DYBLE writes PETER SCARGILL. STEVE ‘YARMY’ DYBLE a leading equine guru in Newmarket, will not be able to assist FRANKEL and others at Royal Ascot tomorrow after he suffered a series of injuries when crushed by a horse at Leicester on Saturday night.

“DYBLE, 56 is among the leading specialists helping with problem and difficult racehorses, which includes calming reluctant and nervous runners load into the stalls down at the starting gate.

“DYBLE was leading the William Musson trained EMEEBEE into the stalls before the 1m2f  handicap at Leicester when the horse leapt forward and slammed Dyble into the front of the gate.

“Speaking from hospital  (Leicester Royal Infirmary)  yesterday, Yarmy said “I’ve broken six ribs and fractured a collarbone and shoulder blade. I don’t know how long I’ll  be here, but there is not a lot they can do apart from giving me pain killers and making me comfortable.
“I obviously won’t be at Ascot-but I don’t think FRANKEL will need me.”

J MARGARET CLARKE TURFCALL

The Burnham Report and other reports carried out by bloodhorse illiterate people took and take no consideration whatsoever on issue as this dangerous accident shows.
Caused by bloodhorse illiterate racecourse personnel.
Caused by bloodhorse illiterate British Horseracing Regulation Authority personnel.

Caused by bloodhorse illiterate government politicians, acting on matters they know absolutely nothing about.

Caused by bloodhorse illiteracy a miss mash of all the lot of  these adds up to a lethal and deadly cocktail of death and destruction.

All have no idea what can startle and frighten a young colt or filly with devastating results, especially in and around the starting stalls. Yarmy could have been killed. To have one cracked rib gives shocking pain, leave alone to have six broken ribs, and the rest that YARMY is suffering. What do the BHA and the government care about such as this horrific incident?

All these people above need to pay attention to what they are at. Their first step needs to pay atttention by watching Monty's Blushing ET documentary on this link.
http://www.turfcall.co.uk/montypage.htm
MONTY'S WORDS "WHO IS GOING TO APOLOGISE TO THE SPECIES?"

SIR HENRY CECIL has been taking care throughout his whole career that he keeps the horses sent to him by owners to train for racing, safe, taking safety measures at all times when in and around any and all the thoroughbreds placed within his care. This is a highly skilled art. Make no mistake about this.
