asked Sir David Attenborough about the news hitting the headlines at present, government
intending to make changes to the BBC. Sir David replied: “The BBC is a public
service, not a government property, as such we need to protect it.”
MPs'
pay: Politicians criticise 'inappropriate' 11% rise
This
is the second pay rise politicians are getting. What sort of people are these? In
the present government poverty hardship trap these politicians are grossly out
of order. A timely reminder that things need to change. Any pay rise should
apply to everyone, not just the politicians.
