THE RACING POST TUESDAY AUGUST 16th 2011

THE RACING POST HIGHLIGHT SEVERAL TRICKY HORSERACING ISSUES

J MARGARET CLARKE TURFCALL:  PERSPECTIVE
ON THE EVE OF THE STARSPANGLED FOUR DAY YORK EBOR FESTIVAL MEETING 2011 WE HAVE THE FOLLOWING KEY NEWS TO CONSIDER, IN SOME CASES ROOT CAUSES THAT ARE CREATING SERIOUS DIVISION WITHIN THIS SPORT.
NEWS KEY ISSUES
Over the last week or so both the C4 horseracing team and the Racing Post team have brought us this news.
1. Barry Hill's to pass his professional bloodhorse literate trainer's license over later this week to his fourth son Charles.
2. As Ian Balding previously handed over same to his son Andrew.
3. Last week's riots, deaths and damage caused in London, Manchester, Birmingham etc whilst all the politician's were away on a month's holiday and the police finding that they were unable to cope.
4. Politician's, Police Force and the British Horseracing Authority Regulators (BHA –R) found to be out of touch on a massive scale.
VOID ISSUES ALL THESE NEED SERIOUS CONSIDERATION AND UNDERSTANDING NOT BLAME
PERSPECTIVE FACT’S, Conflict of Interest related to third party influences found within the British sports regulation department of horseracing 2011. Specifically here involving two professionally licensed racehorse trainers Nick Henderson and Howard Johnson. Both of whom have given their lives to aid and improve the sport of horseracing each and every day.
Evidence perspective from the trainers front. No trainer want's to see his horse suffer hurt
Evidence perspective from the owners front. No owner wants to see his/her horse suffer hurt
Evidence perspective from the handler rider's welfare to mind their horse and keep him safe from harm (eg Team Hills, team Hannon etc)
Evidence perspective racehorses welfare. Racehorses are vulnerable in the wrong hands
Evidence perspective from the veterinary front. Vets are there to heal hurt not inflict hurt
Evidence perspective from all that are bloodhorse illiterate. Keep well away from racehorses.
Evidence perspective Vets are not bloodhorse literate, in the present context.
Evidence perspective from the racecourses' front. All racecourse management have a duty to ensure racehorses and their minders are cared for safely and their needs met whilst on their racecourse.
Evidence perspective from the punter's front. To recognise their limitations if bloodhorse illiterate.

THE GOOD NEWS
We see Hayley Turner Licensed Professional Bloodhorse Literate Achiever in her own right, Flat Race Rider/Horsewoman, hitting the headlines for all the right reasons.
Male influence  - 1730  -  1969  - 1973 - 2011
Hayley's determination, hard work, never say die attitude let her burst through chauvinistic barriers ongoing from 1730 throughout to 1968/69 to 1973 to 2011. In 1969 when the female gender were able to apply for trainer licences, in 1973 for Flat rider's licenses'. Over the last thirty eight years however it could be said that progress on the female front went in the main unsupported, not wanted or needed, girls left to soldier on regardless of their ability in the saddle. The male gender appeared confused unable to manage or decide upon how to cope, with such a thing as a female jockey. Drifting off, sidetracked into a kind of Alice In Wonderland wonderment; resulting in their amazing behaviour at Sandown Park in the very first Lady Jockey's race, as the 'Jockette's as they were called, left the weighing room walking out to the parade ring, found that all the men in the crowd tried to pinch their bottoms as they walked by to join up with their horses.

BAD NEWS AND PUNISHMENT
Professionally licensed  bloodhorse literate achievers racehorse trainers' Nick Henderson and Howard Johnson publicly humiliated and unjustly punished due to third party bloodhorse illiterate veterinary confusion. Conflict of Interest evidence that clearly shows regulation errors of the very worst kind.
PROFESSIONALLY LICENSED RACEHORSE TRAINER HOWARD JOHNSON BANNED OVER THE NEXT FOUR YEARS, LICENSE WITHDRAWN. ……Blew last Saturday (13.08.2011) after lengthy BHA delays throughout. Third party, conflict of interests relating to Veterinaries and Bloodhorse Illiterate Regulators. IF British horseracing regulators had been doing their jobs properly nothing as this would be happening. A further serious issue manifesting itself through negligence and failed working practices by those who should know better.
