A WINDOW INTO THE WORLD OF TRUE EQUUS HORSERACING

EVIDENCE
Global Rules of Horseracing do not exist.

Equus Zone Intelligence urgently needed in India and Britain.
The Royal Western India Turf Club and the British Horseracing Authority are acting in ignorance of all key Equus issues

Bill Barber brings us news:
"Racing promotion delivers 'awful lot with very little' .

J Margaret Clarke Turfcall Comment
Does it?

REL =  RACING ENTERPRISES LTD  ( No mention of any horses)
"BRITISH racing's promotional arm achieves a lot with very little according to Rod Sreet, chief executive of Great British Racing and the body responsible for it, Racing Enterprises Ltd. Does it? How?

"Street was speaking after REL's financial accounts for 2012 were revealed in the BHA's figures for last year, REL being a subsidiary of British racing's governing and regulatory body.  A subsidiary? What sort of subsidiary? An Equus subsidiary? A bloodhorse literate subsidiary? Or a bloodhorse illiterate subsidiary?

"Figures showed REL turnover from data licensing of £1.587 million, an increase of around 1.5 per cent on the previous year. The organisation  made an operating loss of £17,000 after administrative expenses of just more than £1.6m. An organisation? What sort of organisation? An Equus organisation? A bloodhorse literate organisation? Or a bloodhorse illiterate organisation?

"Street said business costs of around £350,000 left REL with net income of £1.25m, which the board had a policy of spending on promoting and marketing the sport. HOW? In an Equus way? Or in another way?
Surely the honest title should read:
BRITISH HORSERACING ENTERPRISES LTD (BHEL)

GBR =  GREAT BRITISH RACING
"That  £1.25m is the spend on GBR, including staff costs, " he added. "I think it often surprises people because they assume there's lots of money washing around being spent.
You say including the staff, what staff? In which zone? Equus? Or another zone?

"I feel £1.25m is a very small amount with which to market a sport of our size nationally and we're actively seeking ways via our stakeholders to see how that can be improved.
To market a sport?  What sort of a sport exactly? A horseracing sport? An Equus Sport? Or another sport? For your stakeholders governing, regulatory and political who are these people? Their names?

"If you look at the economic impact of British racing (calculated at £3.45 billion in 2012) and set against that national promotions and marketing of £1.25m it's a very small sum and I think we achieve an awful lot with very little. In what domain/zone?  The Equus Zone? Or a different Zone?

GBRI = GREAT BRITISH RACING INTERNATIONAL
"Spending on Great British Racing International invested body set up to promote British racing abroad when Racing for Change became GBR this year, will be a feature of the 2013 accounts. How interesting.

"Street said: We've invested an additional amount to get GBRI off the ground. The BHA is an investor, as is the Levy Board, so there will be some increased expenditure. How interesting.

 British Champion Professional  Pioneer Flat Turf Rider Richard Hughes (Group 1 Equus ) riding for Team Hannon (Equus)  promoted British horseracing yesterday in Turkey themselves. What consideration and care do Richard Hughes and Team Hannon to include the horses and their owners receive for their huge daily contribution to British horseracing?

"However, the increased expenditure on GBRI has been reduced in other areas of our promotions, because we still work to the policy of break-even. So we've had to cut our cloth accordingly. How would you know how to cut your cloth accordingly when you do not even bother to honour the British Equus Zone.

"For 2013 and 2014 there will be additional expenditure  on GBRI because it is seen to be an important aspect of it. " An important aspect of what exactly? The Equus Zone that you ignore and refuse to honour?

BCS = BRITISH CHAMPION SERIES
BRITISH CHAMPION SERIES (BCS) (NO MENTION OF HORSES)
What stake do the Equus Zone hold in all this? Or is this the reason that the BHA do not allow an Equus Zone?

REL = RACING ENTERPRISES LTD
"REL, which is jointly owned by the Horsemen's Group and the Racecourse Association, has a 15 per cent stake in British Champion Series Ltd, to which it has loaned a total of £2.129m by the end of last year.
 What stake do the Equus Zone hold in all this? Or is this the reason that the BHA do not allow an Equus Zone?

"Street said: "One of the compelling reasons for REL to invest in British Champion Series is that REL represents both the racecourses and the horsemen, who felt in the interests of the sport it was an absolute proper investment because it was a series and a day that the sport benefits from. " The sport in general? Or the sport of Equus?  Or the horsemen of Equus?
Surely this title should read:
GREAT BRITISH QIPCO HORSERACING CHAMPION SERIES (GBQHCS)

 Perhaps the GREAT should be left off at present due to the BHA ripping off all those who have achieved true bloodhorse literacy in their own right, to include the horses and their owners. And for refusing to allow an Equus Zone. It is  not possible for any global country to run the sport of horseracing without a true Equus Zone.
