Nicholas Godfrey looks at the month in which the sport was rocked by a doping scandal

J Margaret Clarke Turfcall Comment

""Godolphin's unceremonious fall from grace. "

The key questions that still remain unanswered:

But was this a doping scandal?

Or is this a Global Equus medication issue?

BLOWN UP  as a doping scandal by the British political and horseracing government  through ignorance.

A MEDICATION ISSUE due to the evil failed working practices within the British political and horseracing goverment down to Deadly Bloodhorse Illiteracy, that has been left ongoing over the last 6 decades, getting steadily worse,  and worse,  and more dangerous each and every year.
Or was this simply due to the fact that there are no true Global Rules for Horseracing in existence?

There are no true Global Equus Zone Rules for Horseracing in Britain at all.

Why do all the true British horsemen have to put up with the likes of a situation as this?

Anabolic steroids: ethylestrenol (used on fillies) and stanozolol.

The facts remain that in Dubai and other countries around the world there is no ban on such medication being used on badly injured racehorses.

When questioned at the Bloodhorse Illiterate Disciplinary Hearing Al Zarooni spoke up when asked "Where did you get these anabolic steroids from? Al Zarooni replied. "When I came back from running horses at Medan Racecourse Dubai. There is no ban on using anabolic steroids on badly  injured racehorses (medication anabolic steroids)  in Dubai. "Al Zarooni said.

Al Zarooni and Butler have been used, and accused unjustly by British Bloodhorse Illiterate government.  Who are dishing out Bloodhorse Illiterate punishments upon the Bloodhorse Literate Achievers in error.

PURE JEANIUS
Rodney Masters on Julian Thick's  first day in charge at a troubled Newbury racecourse. "
Denims are back at Newbury -  but that's the least of the worries facing new chief Julian Thick. See page 2
"New man determined to rekindle the love. "
"NEWBURY'S new skipper yesterday promised  he would listen to complaints from racegoers  and act accordingly. By lunchtime, Julian Thick's list of notes was stretching ever longer. As he headed for home last night after supervising his first meeting as chief executive, few would blame him if, deep down, he felt this ever troubled racecourse would prove as difficult to turn around as one of those multi-decked cruise liners. Not that he was saying so ....
