CONGRATULATIONS
LEANNE MASTERSON WINS RIDER- MINDER OF THE YEAR AWARD
AT GODOLPHIN PARTY
TEAM (Andrew) BALDING.

"The tenth annual Godolphin Awards Roll of Honour held at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel in London on Tuesday night.

"Tony McCoy presented Leanne with a cheque for £30,000, half of which will be shared among her team mates at Kingsclere

"Masterson, 34, first joined Ian Balding as a sixteen-year- old apprentice - riding seven winners - before taking over travelling the horses. Last year she travelled with Side Glance to the UAE, the US, Hong Kong and Australia, where he won the Group 1 Mackinnon Stakes. Leanne tells us "It's quite a responsibility  and a bit of pressure. You become friends of the horses you care for every day. Side Glance has done so much for me, I owe him so much, he is my best friend.

JMC: How long will it be before Trainer Team Handler-Riders  - Minders get properly recognised for the part they play in preparing each racehorse to compete on the global racetracks around the world?  To be allowed to have a true career structure. To be allowed to be  fully recognised and properly paid? British Football Team's buy the players to make up their teams, and further pay each player a proper wage, and that is for kicking a ball about.  The true value of  attempting to train  racehorses  every day ..... massive.   Trainers need ace handler - riders to make up their teams.  Top professional handler - riders  bloodhorse literate achievers in their own right,  deserve to be paid a top wage for the skills they have achieved. To be paid only a minimum wage , scandalous. Government theft on a massive scale.

CH4  Guide Mick  Fitzgerald Equus

"Also the number of winners jockey-turned-broadcaster Mick Fitzgerald (Equus Zone) rode at the Cheltenham Festival. Twice the leading rider at the meeting, Fitzgerald won the Gold Cup partnering See More Business in 1999, a day after winning the Champion Chase partnering Call Equiname. The Channel 4 and At The Races presenter also was victorious in the World Hurdle, Arkle and RSA Chase on his cv "

CH4 Mick Fitzgerald (Equus Zone) Your Guide for all things Equus

Yes, yes. yes

Your team to follow before placing a bet. Allow yourself time to prepare your team. May take you at least a month in practice.

What ingredients does a budding punter need on his horseracing adventure to follow, when considering to place a bet?  Or not as the case may be?  You make  your own 'Template' .

eg:  Preview the Cheltenham Festival 2014.  12 days to go.

   Punters Zone:

Key things to consider:

Are you going to  consider the horse you fancy? Or are you going to fancy only the horses within one Trainer's Team which is what  Turfcall  has suggested?

Are you going to  consider only one jockey?

Equus Zone:  Things you need to assess:

CH4 Morning Line Equus Team
Clare Balding?
Alice (in wonderland) Plunkett?
Mick Fitzgerald?
Emma Spencer?
Sam Thomas?
Gina Bryce?

What Trainers Team does the horse you fancy come from?
Who in that Trainer's Team prepares the horse you fancy every day?

Who rides the horse you fancy in his work? If different from the above?

What  jockey, partner, does the horse you fancy have in the saddle?
Who own's the horse you fancy?
Who bred the horse you fancy? Who rides the horse you fancy every day?
You will notice that Turfcall suggests two Trainer Teams to follow for this jumps, turf  season. (2013 - 2014)
Team (Nicky) Henderson (GB)
Team (Willie) Mullins (IRE)
Punters Zone:  Things you need to assess:

Bookmakers who to place your bet with?

Paddy Power?

What price is the horse you fancy?
What is the likely Starting Price of the horse you fancy?
CH4 Tanya Stevenson pre-race will keep you up to date with where the money is going. Market Movers and stats, always interesting. CH4 have a good team of form analysts. Which one do you want to follow.
Nick Luck?
Jim McGrath?
Tom Lee?
