"Protecting
Our Parents"
Documentary.
"Both frail. Leonard and Kathleen
his wife may now have to face living apart. "
No way should Mr and
Mrs Price be forced to live apart by anyone. Of course they have the right to stay at home.
2/3 Who Decides? This week's program features
Kathleen and Leonard Price, who have lived in the same house in Birmingham for 50 years.
But Kathleen is bed-bound and already receives social-service support of four
visits a day by carers. Carers? Despite this, over the past three months
Kathleen has called 999 over 150 times when she is uncomfortable and stressed asking for help, costing the NHS thousands of
pounds. Is she now at the point where she will have to move into care and be separated
from her husband? The uncaring English government have
only themselves to blame. All they care about is money. They haven't a clue what
true caring means even. English government are abusing the people in England
Scotland and Wales
each and every day ongoing over the last six decades ignoring the rights and
needs of every person who attempts to live and work here. English
government's treatment of the Gurkhas testament to their evil attitude. Scotland have
had enough of the British political system. Perhaps now it is long past time for
all of us who live in England
and Wales to join up with Alex
Salmond in Scotland .
To kick this lot out of parliament in London and
work with Alex Salmond in Scotland
until we have righted all the wrongs that we are being burdened with each and every day,to include the horses and the animal kingdom.
24 Sep 2013 ... First
Minister Alex Salmond Alex Salmond was born in Linlithgow in
1954. He attended Linlithgow Academy before studying at St
Andrews ...
Mr and Mrs Price continued:
"This is brutally hard, a steady
look at a very tough question. Kathleen and Leonard Price are in their 80s and
have lived in the same house in Birmingham
for 50 years.
"Social Services and her doctors
have to work out a viable plan for the couples care, And they have a few
tussles. But who decides when the couple must move, and can anyone grasp the
nettle?
"The couple are determined to
stay at home; the problem is that Kathleen who would like 24-hour care, can't
afford it.

CARERS? WHAT SORT OF CARERS?
The present carers used by the NHS
are not carers at all. They are odd job people They call in to see if the
person is still alive that is all. And phone the Undertaker if they are dead.
"A heartless government NHS system
structure of uncaring evil.

EXPENSIVE GOVERNMENT THEORY IS NOT WORKING OUT IN PRACTICE
There is an urgent need for LOCAL
ACTION CENTRES that can help all sorts of people in distress with a phone line
service. Kathleen would not be feeling nearly as vulnerable if she knew she
could talk to someone. Her confidence would return if nothing else. It is estimated that 90 percent of people
prefer to stay in their own homes. The government should honour everyone's
wishes and adapt around that. A government dictate burdened upon the sick and
elderly is not acceptable in any circumstances.
WHAT THIS DOCUMENTARY SHOWED:
Government Health Perspective out of
order and out of context.
Kathleen is physically broken down
she is totally dependant on her bed.
Leonard can move about but is very
frail. Both have spent their adult lifetime together at home in their own
house. Which is were they both want to stay together.
GOVERNMENT FINANCIAL ISSUES
Government tell us the costs to them of
one person spending 24 hours in hospital is £310.00
Cost for a week in hospital £2,170.00.
What government call "Taking a hospital bed. "
EXPENSIVE GOVERNMENT THEORY IS NOT WORKING OUT IN PRACTICE
There is no local back up group exchange action service with phone line Instead there is just the 999 phone service. An expensive way of providing a bad service. .
GOVERNMENT FAILED HEALTH SERVICE
STRUCTURE
The long outdated British political
and horseracing government do not adjust to the needs of the elderly. As this
documentary sadly showed. It was starkly
evident that the overpowering doctors and NHS group people of which there were
far to many, caused a cruel
environmental fear into the hearts of both Kathleen and Leonard.
AREA BIRMINGHAM (large population)
Kathleen and Leonard Price are
attempting to adjust to living through the trauma of frail old age.
It is estimated that to provide a
local action facility with a phone line,
centred North, South. East, West and Centre of Birmingham is urgently
needed. Same local structure to be developed nationwide.. Kathleen is acutely
aware that she can't do what she always has managed to do in the past. That one
fact alone is causing her stress understandably' .
Government have taken a step in the
right direction over hospital menu's, food quality, and preparation. Government are way out of order over the above.
