ANDREW KING "FESTIVAL CANDIDATES THRILL NICHOLLS."
"Trainer all smiles at Taunton as trio call-up for his Cheltenham team.
BOOKMAKERS and pundits were divided over DILDAR'S victory on his much-anticipated hurdling debut at Taunton yesterday, with several firms clipping him to 10-1 for the JCB Triumph Hurdle while Paddy Power pushed him out two points to 14-1.

JMC TURFCALL

The JCB TRIUMPH HURDLE RACE is a Championship race for novice four-year olds (Grade 1) (Class 1)  over 2m1f. To be run on Friday March 16th and is historically one of the most open races at the festival. With upwards of 20 inexperienced juveniles testing their ability, possibly in hot company and at racing pace, a highly skilled rider is a major factor. As is usual in a Grade 1 Championship race, all horses carry the same weight, in this instance, all horses carry 11st, apart from any fillies who get a 7lb sex allowance.

Recent winners of the Triumph Hurdle have come from the top four in the betting so may pay dividends to concentrate on the market movers in Friday's opener. The most experienced riders best to follow in this, top riders who can aid a young runner just starting out are proved to be the most successful here.  Past winners of this no bigger than 6/1.  Punters in general should be  careful of having a bet in this race. Best perhaps to concentrating on the market movers here.  DILDAR'S preperations fit the criteria, but just how good is he?
