REVIEW YESTERDAY'S RESULTS

J Margaret Clarke Turfcall Comment
An impressive FRANKEL galloped yesterday before racing he has matured considerably from a three year old to now he is a four year old, he is much more butch and chunky and a fabulous mover, settled, going about his business with confidence.

This time last year when FRANKEL won the 2,000 Guineas with such ease Tom Queally let him run without interfering too much, Sir Henry Cecil mentioned they had to work on getting FRANKEL to settle throughout his three year old career.

In the 2,000 Guineas yesterday BORN TO SEA  partnered by JOHNNY MURTAGH from leaving the starting gate was tanking along fighting for his head, this his first run as a three year old,  he didn't settle he was fighting Murtagh for most of the way,  BORN TO SEA  was not happy.

BORN TO SEA'S  LIFE STORY SO FAR.  JOHN OXX HAD THIS TO SAY IN 2011:
" BORN TO SEA is very good looking, well balanced, a good mover, athletic, he's a bit more rounded, close- coupled, and that's the INVINCIBLE SPIRIT in him. He 's already 16.1 hh and well made.

"Its very early days BORN TO SEA could have run in April  if we'd wanted, he's a more precocious  type than SEA THE STARS and would have learned more quickly. We're just thinking race from race and day to day at the moment, and its in the lap of the Gods where we'll end up."

SEA THE STARS BY CAPE CROSS - URBAN SEA - MICK KINANE (now retired)

BORN TO SEA BY  INVINCIBLE SPIRIT - URBAN SEA - JOHNNY MURTAGH
Kinane: Sea's no value at 8/1
