"Top jockey suspended on first day blast new rules."AN ANGRY Richard Hughes yesterday became the first high- profile victim of the new tougher whip rules as he was handed a five-day ban on the day they came into effect. The runner- up in last year's jockeys' title race was stood down from October 24 to 28, while apprentice Kieren Fox was given a 15-day suspension (Which covers October 24 to November 11th ) After  falling foul the regulatations in the same 1m2f handicap at Salisbury. Each had his riding fee and share of prize-money taken away .....
