third straight season and showed he means business by winning on his first ride
of the year back in Britain .

Secret Millionaire at Kempton in the 2.20 yesterday offered a taste of things to come as
Hughes looked forward to a new turf season packed with exciting rides.
"The jockey
recorded a series of notable firsts in
2013 when a breakthrough British Classic win partnering
Sky Lantern in the 1.000 Guineas
"The 41-year-old
was the first rider in ten years to top 200 winners, and his final score of 208
in one calendar year was the highest recorded by any jockey since Frankie
Dettori 's 233 in 1994. "
