JON LEES  "Struthers leaves BHA media void until 2012.
"The BHA will be without a head of communications until well into

2012 because of the need for incoming chief executive Paul Bittar

to be included in the process to decide who will replace Paul Struthers

who's sudden departure was announced last Friday.

"Struthers, who took on his latest role after the retirement of PR director

Jon Ryan, appeared to have been made the scapegoat for the PR disaster

surrounding the BHA's handling of the new whip rules. His departure was

announced shortly after it is understood he had been informed that he no

longer enjoyed the confidence of BHA executive directors Jamie Stier,

Tim Morris, Paul Scotney and Ruth Quinn.

" It is vitally important the BHA has somebody who can help the organisation

speak to the media."

J MARGARET CLARKE TURFCALL
BITTAR he'll be 1-100 on then to be bloodhorse illiterate, the same as Nic Coward.

That is acceptable then is it to the powers that be at 75 High Holborn London?

Bittar to pick up the reins from where Nic Coward left off. But still no sign of

a bloodhorse literate whip review? How much longer is it going to take the BHA

to get around to consider that their  licensed riders' do have rights as well as

everyone else. Human rights, as do the horses. Looks like there is a need for the BHA to have

more than just one such person for this job - if it is to be done properly.
A bloodhorse literate PR and a bloodhorse illiterate PR
