LEE MOTTERSHEAD "CUP ORGANISERS WANT TO SEE FRANKEL NEXT YEAR.
"BREEDERS' CUP organisers yesterday voiced their support for a repositioning of British racing's new Champions Day and argued that FRANKEL'S 'legend' would be enhanced if the worlds best racehorse ended his four- year -old campaign at America's premier fixture.
"The absense of FRANKEL, together with that of leading Europian stars DANEDREAM, CIRRUS DES AIGLES, EXCELEBRATION and the now - retired DREAM AHEAD, has led some to suggest that the 28th Breeders' Cup has failed to justify its billing as Flat racing's world championships.

“Elliott, who shot to fame when training 2007 National hero SILVER BIRCH, was reacting to the publication of a report following a BHA review sparked by the furore surrounding two equine fatalities and other negative publicity during this year’s race in April.
