Frankel's International a day to cherish - Cecil
"SIR HENRY CECIL said Friday he would remember and cherish Frankel's brilliant Juddmonte International victory forever.
"Both horse and trainer were given a magnificent reception by the 30,000-plus crowd at York, where Frankel stormed to a seven-length victory at the hitherto untried trip of an extended 1m2f ......"

"RYAN MOORE will miss the entire Ebor festival at York and beyond as he confirmed that he broke his left wrist in a fall at Warwick on Tuesday evening."Moore, who secured the latest Group 1 victory of his career on Snow Fairy at Deauville on Sunday, suffered the injury when his mount Cresta Star slipped on the home bend, and the former champion jockey, writing in his Betfair column, felt the fall was avoidable.
"He said: "I don't know how long I will be out for, but I can tell you that I am not happy. In my opinion, the problem was that the grass [on the bend] was far too long and lush, and that can always cause problems .......
"And when I went into the bend on Cresta Star I was never balanced. I had hold of her head but when the favourite came round, I got a bit tight and she lost her back end and slipped .....

Willing Foe helps Frankie Dettori win first Ebor
Report: York, Saturday
Betfred Ebor (Handicap) (Class 2) 1m6f, 3yo+
"AFTER 25 years of trying Frankie Dettori has finally won the York Ebor, producing a spectacular ride on the Saeed Bin Suroor-trained Willing Foe to take the £225,000 handicap ......
The winning pair overhauled Royal Diamond after a prolonged battle inside the final few furlongs, getting up close home to land the 1m6f contest.
Settled in mid-division, Dettori was travelling ominously well on the five-year-old as the 19-strong field entered the home straight, positioned towards the centre of the track as the field stayed far side.
