What can we learn from this result? Trainer Aidan O'Brien challenged for this with
3 runners TWIRL 6-1, SOON 12-1. DEVOTION 7-1 all good prices to put your money down, but which one of the three would you put your money on exactly? TWIRL or SOON?
First and second in either order maybe? But what about DEVOTION? Her form to date is such that it would be unwise to put your money down on her.

1st Twirl  6/1.  2nd Soon 12-1. 6th Devotion 7-1

Neil Varley where is he now?

http://www.newmarketjournal.co.uk/news/latest-news/former-jockey-s-career-change-reaps-rewards-1-542301

The career, life and times of  Neil Varley
JMC, Neil chose a career in horseracing in his teens, which took him along the road to achieving bloodhorse literacy in his own right. He had the talent and flair to get rides, and rode over 80 winners. Perhaps more importantly he managed throughout a fairly short career in horseracing to work his way up two thirds of the bloodhorse literacy ladder. That is a lot of bloodhorse literacy to throw away. So what do the British Horseracing Authority Government along with the British Political Government intend to do about the drain of such bloodhorse literacy being lost to this sport?
