Hannon blasts new surface at Kempton

Champion says track 'simply not acceptable

"RICHARD HANNON yesterday piled on the pressure over the relaid all-weather track at Kempton, where meetings have been blighted by an eyecatching 22 withdrawals over the last two days .....

"But ....  stable jockey Richard Hughes is in far happier mood. After making plain his intentions to challenge for the champion Flat jockey title on the eve of Glorious Goodwood, Richard is backing up his words with deeds as a treble at Brighton yesterday drew him level with long-time leader Ryan Moore on the 90-winner mark. THIS MORNING BBC 1 OLYMPIC BREAKFAST

TEAM GB GOLD MEDAL WINNER NICK SKELTON and BIG STAR

YES, YES, YES a fantastic work of art achievement TRULY AMAZING .

A video recording of Nick and Big Star competing here needs to be made available to each and every person starting out on the 'Bloodhorse Literacy Trail.'

A performance as this shows perfectly the elasticity, the give and take between BIG STAR and NICK as NICK works BIG STAR throughout on the bridle, both superstar athletes in tune with each other. To tackle a huge track of fences as these, and to make it look so easy, truly miraculous.

But of course it is not easy at all, make no mistake about that.

BBC Host and Hostess Bill Turnbull and Hazel Irvine talk to NICK SKELTON
partner Superstar Showjumper BIG STAR Gold Medal winners in GB Team Showjumping this week.

NICK (Senior True Bloodhorse Literate Horseman 54), a true professional bloodhorse literate achiever in his own right at the highest level, both in and out of the saddle, in theory and in practice. Much can be learned from close observation of NICK as he partners BIG STAR in the Equine Showjumping rounds to win Gold in Team GB Showjumping brought into our homes live courtesy of the BBC 1 TV coverage throughout these Olympic Games.

Bill and Hazel ask Nick how he got started, and what needs to be protected to take Equine Sport forward for the future.

     JMC Turfcall Comment
It is the horses who need protection from the bloodhorse illiterate. This is found to be the case also within British Horseracing. True bloodhorse literacy guidance needs to be truly recognised by everyone worldwide and upheld worldwide.
Bloodhorse Literacy Aim the number one priority for all equine sport.

HOW ABOUT A BLOODHORSE LITERATE TEAM AS THESE TO START WITH?
DAVY RUSSELL (IRE) International professional handler rider jump racing.
NICK SKELTON International professional handler rider showjumping
C4 JOHN (greatest jockey) FRANCOME International professional handler rider
MONTY ROBERTS and KELLY  MARKS International professional handler riders
ZARA PHILLIPS International professional handler rider 3 day event
JOHN GOSDEN International professional racehorse trainer
LORD and LADY ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER International superstars who every day work to bring joy to so many peoples lives. Racehorse owner breeders. Lady Lloyd Webber has achieved bloodhorse literacy in her own right.

To be able to move all Equine sport forward worldwide great care needs to be taken
on each and every facet of bloodhorse literacy of which there are many.
