JON LEES “Horsemen object to Newcastle exemption.”
“BHA should not allow floodlit winter fixtures” .
“THE Horsemen’s Group
is objecting to the prospect of the BHA giving Newcastle an exemption that
would allow the course to stage winter floodlit meetings on its planned
all-weather track, contrary to the regulator’s own rule book. “
JMC: WHERE are the true
Horseman in this Group? What right does this Group have in calling themselves “The
Horsemen Group. “ when they are not Horsemen, they are in fact ‘Bloodhorse Illiterate” nothing to do with true
horsemen at all. Who is responsible for securing this deception in the first
place?

"GEORGE BAKER intends
to seek compensation for the voiding of the 5f feature race won by his Humidor
at Epsom on Monday following a false start. Baker is convinced connections of
all those who finished in the prize-money, including the fast starting third
Taurus Twins whom the starter deemed to have gained an unfair advantage, have
suffered an injustice.
“The trainer said
yesterday: “It’s a massive shame and very upsetting for everyone involved,
particularly Humidor’s owners. We are keen to go down any channels we can to
seek compensation. “
“Baker is not optimistic,
however, that racing’s avenues are open to him and the owners, admitting: “I
fear the channel’s are pretty blocked and have been declared a false start the
book is now closed. I got the feeling from the BHA this morning they’re pretty
keen to move on as quickly as possible, so I don’t know what my avenues are. “

Historic Evidence for Licensed Trainer George Baker:
Goodwood: Team (John) Gosden
Threat
a 2 year-old colt making his Flat racing debut at Goodwood partnered by Frankie Dettori got trapped in a faulty
starting stall that opened late, after all the other gates had opened and the
runners had gone. A false start was called, all the runners came back including
Threat who had got out of his stall late.
That Threat and Dettori where loaded back into the same faulty
starting stall for the second time, beggars all belief. The race was run. Afterwards the bloodhorse
illiterate horseracing government fined Dettori about five hundred pound I
think it was, announcing to the media at Goodwood that day, that Dettori was up to no good, that he had rigged the starting stalls. "
Not a good thing to
happen to a 2 year old colt on his debut run. Dettori and Threat could have got killed in that faulty starting stall that day. It will have been Dettori's talent in the saddle that saved the day for both of them.
