Burton brings news:
Wednesday
October 22 page 1 and 3,
“Hughes:
“I’d love to win fourth title.
“RICHARD
HUGHES on Tuesday admitted “nobody in
the world” wanted to be champion jockey more than him and said he would love to
join a list of greats and make it four titles in a row next season.
“Hughes
sealed his third straight title on Tuesday as rival Ryan Moore, trailing by
five wins, gave up his two booked rides at Lingfield and will now concentrate
on big targets outside Britain in the 17 days that remain in the British Flat turf
season 2014.
“
It’s a huge relief.to go and win it again, “ said Hughes “I know Ryan doesn’t
want it as much as me, but there is nobody in the world that wants it as much
as me. “
“Should
he be crowned king again in 2015, Hughes would become only the fourth jockey
since the second world war to claim the title in four or more consecutive
seasons, following Sir Gorden Richards, Lester Piggott, and Pat Eddery
