RETAINING A TRUE  PROFESSIONAL BLOODHORSE LITERATE STABLE JOCKEY
 (Group 1) (Class 1) (Grade 1)
SIR HENRY CECIL  throughout his highly successful  training career has preferred to retain a stable jockey, as he does to this day, at present TOM QUEALLY.

TOM has partnered FRANKEL in all his races to date, and will be partnering FRANKEL on Saturday at Ascot to challenge for the Qipco Champion Stakes  on  Champions Day  all being well.

A key true professional bloodhorse literate  handler rider working within TEAM CECIL is SHANE FETHERSTONEHAUGH. SHANE partners FRANKEL every day in all his prep home work. FRANKEL will know both these riders well and visa versa, this will bring FRANKEL confidence when going out to compete in races, as does  the company of BULLET TRAIN,  FRANKEL'S lead horse.

RACE CAREER

Background:

THOMAS PETER QUEALLY rode his first winner on his 4th public ride aboard LARIFAARI  in the Nenagh Handicap Clonmel on April 13th 2000 at 15 years of age, he attended  Dungarvan Christian Brothers School County Wexford.

Tom was born on  October 8, 1984 Declan,  Tom's  father trains a few horses himself, he started Tom off  in pony racing where he achieved champion status in that environment, following on to become Ireland's champion apprentice in 2000 at the age of sixteen with 28 wins. After finishing his schooling, Tom joined up with Aidan O'Brien for whom he had been riding out at weekends whilst still at school.

Devon trainer Tony Newcombe helped bring Tom to Britain while apprenticed in Ireland to

Pat Flynn. 2009 was Tom Queally's breakthrough year in which he won his first of five Group One races aboard Art Connoisseur in the Golden Jubilee Stakes at Ascot Racecourse. On August 1, aboard Midday, he won his fourth Group One event, the Nassau Stakes at Goodwood Racecourse and on November 7 he again rode Midday to victory in the richest race of his career, the US$2 million Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turfat Santa Anita Park in California.
Queally told the Daily Mail newspaper he owed his breakthrough success to trainer, Henry Cecil.[1]

FRANKEL WILL BE MISSED BY ALL AT WARREN PLACE  AND ON THE GALLOPS AS PETER SAYS. The whole of Newmarket as well, there is something very special about FRANKEL where he comes from, how his career has been planned, how the preparations for each and every one of his races have been carefully thought through, his objective achieved. A truly remarkable work of art involving many bloodhorse literate peoples skills working together, ongoing every single day at Warren Place within TEAM CECIL.
A Mighty Bloodhorse Literate Work of Art.
Putting the Great back into Britain every day of the week, every month of the year over years
