RP Jon Lees brings us news "Bolger keen on Post bid for Leather. Conditions set fair for leading Derby hope

"JIM BOLGER, trainer of Dewhurst Stakes winner and 2,000 Guineas favourite Dawn Approach, yesterday said a favourable forecast could enable him to bid for a second juvenile Group 1 prize with his nominated Derby hope Trading Leather in the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster on Saturday .....

Rodney Masters brings us news  "Frankie has lost none of his talent
nor the will to win - that's a fact'

"Ray Cochrane, Dettori's agent and close friend, said yesterday that no longer being tied into a contract with Godolphin will free up his jockey for an attempt to regain a title he last held in 2004.

"Without a shadow of doubt, Frankie is up for it," said Cochrane. "As I mentioned to him when we talked about it the other day, he doesn't need to ride at two meetings every day. If he can ride two winners a day, perhaps even just one winner a day, he has a great chance of being champion."
