JMC. Lasix the medication used to aid and help stop pain suffered by American racehorses in training. Surely in this day and age anything that can stop terrible pain and suffering is a blessing. Any medication that can help stop pain in both horses and people has to be a relief to those in trouble suffering dreadful pain.
The highly skilled training that should go into preparing a racehorse for competition on the race track is all for nothing if problems arise and Lasix needs to be used, to rescue a horse to save a horse from pain whilst in training.
The conflict arises with American racehorses in training on Lasix. If they have to come off it to enable them to compete in a race.
