The key focus as used by Monty Roberts needs to be the very first study project of all, for children to find out who they are, and what career interests them at school, not after they have left school.

CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY
 WITH McCOY'S HELP

"TONY McCOY has swapped his everyday silks for a Christmas jumper to help promote racing over the festival period.

"The 17-time champion was pictured (see RP front page) in a seasonal sweater aboard hurdler Dr LIVINGSTONE, who is painted neck to hoofs in his own Christmas pullover, jumping a training fence decorated with tinsel, baubles, bells and presents.

"The photoshoot was arranged for the launch of the Jockey Club Racecourses interactive calendar, which features giveaways including thousands of free tickets.  Registrations are accepted from today at giftofracing.co.uk.

"Paul Fisher, group managing director of Jockey Club Racecourses, said: "This is a time for giving, so we're launching our largest-ever promotion through our Gift of Racing calendar. Every day has a different gift."
